Gloria Hentz, O.D.

Dr. Gloria Hentz was raised in Arlington, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Prairie View A&M University and her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Gloria Hentz has served in the United States Air Force since 2001. She holds the rank of Major and currently serves as Chief of Optometry services for her unit.

Dr. Hentz has been practicing in Fort Worth, Texas for more than 10 years and opened her second location Elite Vision Center in Arlington in 2020. She provides medical ophthalmic care for patients with eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetes. She also provides routine and comprehensive eye examinations for glasses and contact lens prescriptions for adults and children. She has a passion for service and providing excellence in vision care for all.

She enjoys fitting a variety of contact lenses, and specialty contact lenses such as OrthoK, Sclerals, and Rigid Gas permeable. Dr. Hentz has great knowledge and interest in dry eye, ocular allergy, trauma care, cataract management, and refractive surgery such as LASIK,. Dr. Hentz enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 3 children. In her free time, she loves running, reading, and serving in the community.
